    Ma'am I'm starting to do this routine today because when I run it feels like my left ankle won't bend like my right and I can't get any mobility in it and I have to push through because I have a pt test for the army to do, so I have to push through this and figure it out but I will let you know my progression in a week

    I used to run 4 days a week, speed of 6 mph for 20 mins straight. I stopped for 2 months and went back the other day. Ran for 20 mins ,same speed but ankle pain started next morning. Has not stopped since, will try this out!

    I cannot lift my right hand above my head. Other than that I am not in pain and do all my usual chores and I can sleep on my right as well. I had a MRI and there is a tear. Since I am not in pain my doctor does not advise surgery. I am 74 years old. Can u suggest excises for me, thanks.

    It’s actually false. The main causes of sore calves are: bad running form, overuse (too much mileage too quick). That physio clearly isn’t a runner. Typical Aussie low standards of schooling, pumping out graduates who have the illusion of knowing what they are talking about (see Dunning Kruger effect). Any rubbish said with enough confidence can sounds like it’s legitimate, it takes someone who has experience to cut through the bullshit. Go watch a video on running form and mileage increase appropriate to experience. You’re welcome.
